Start a Conversation"Design should do two things at once: look right and work hard. Everything else is decoration."
Jessica Gladstone is a senior graphic designer and art director whose work spans consumer brands, entertainment, government, and the spaces between. Over a 20-year career, she has built brand systems from scratch, art directed campaigns that opened new retail categories, produced events that raised $125,000 per year for military families overseas, and now leads creative for one of the world's largest federal contractors.
She brings a rigorous, research-informed point of view to every project — honed through in-house roles at Nickelodeon, Mattel, The Learning Curve, and Sony, then as Senior Art Director at Boppy where she unified a global product line across 40+ SKUs, launched the Teething Scarf product category at Buy Buy Baby, Babies 'R' Us, and Amazon, and art directed five brand videos. She currently serves as Lead Creative Designer at Accenture Federal Services, where the quality of the work directly shapes multimillion-dollar proposal outcomes.
Alongside her staff career, Jessica has maintained a 14-year freelance practice spanning specialty food packaging (sold at Uncommon Goods nationwide), independent film posters, vehicle wraps, museum exhibition panels, community cultural events, and medical leave-behind collateral. She is also an accomplished presentation designer — building executive decks, proposal graphics, and the supporting visual systems that make complex ideas persuasive.
Jessica holds a B.F.A. in Communications Design from Syracuse University and an M.G.D. from North Carolina State University. She has been published in Designing for Children and has written for Design Observer. She taught at the Art Institute of Washington and served as Head of Graphic Design at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.
Whether you need a complete brand system, a high-stakes presentation, a campaign from concept through production, or a single great idea executed with precision — Jessica would love to hear about your project.
